Animal Magic

Animal Magic

Are animals magical or are they just in sync with that magic that moves everything?

For instance, cats are so in tune with your vibes that they crawl into your lap or make a buffer to the outside world by sitting on your belly. If you are one of their "preferred humans", they feel your vulnerability or somber mood and try to ease you into tranquility.

Yesterday I read an article about an elderly man named Francis Romeo who was in a coma for a month. The hospital allowed his dog to stay with him and he never left the gentleman's side. When Francis finally woke, he said: "Where is that white angel who constantly whispered in my ear that everything would be fine?" He then noticed his beloved dog lying next to him.

Stories like this make me teary-eyed, and there are so many, even from my own reservoir. For instance, when I was recovering last summer from my surgeries and Sophie the cat sat by me all day on the couch. She also slept on my stomach when I had trouble falling asleep.

Simply put, animals are amazing! I read that a cat's purr speeds up the healing process: it doesn't just make you feel good by releasing endorphins. Cats emit a frequency that heals themselves (or us): they don't just purr when they're happy. The purring vibrations from 20Hz up to 150Hz promote bone and soft tissue growth. I mean, wow!

Being of the animal kingdom ourselves, people must have some special power, too. For example, there are people who heal with their hands (like Reiki). Many people are skeptical, but why shouldn't it be possible? Why couldn't we tune into that magical ether that moves everything and move molecules ourselves? Our bodies and minds are capable of incredible things. We live inside a healing machine, otherwise we would have open wounds instead of scars. Why is it considered weird to be able to dabble in the getting better process?

I wonder what we could do if we plugged into the universe again. Thank God that animals never unplug themselves, that they will never totally lose their connection with their nature.
